Following our recent communications and the announcement that Flexseal will become Fernco, we are now delighted to be able to confirm the timeline.
Since our first announcement, we have had the opportunity to listen to your views, take on board your feedback and fully map out a detailed strategy to ensure the smooth transition to the Fernco brand.
The switch to Fernco will be effective 1st August 2022, and all necessary support, ranging from documentation to brand guidelines to point of sale items, along with data sheets, website updates and comprehensive FAQs will be available to make the transition seamless. To ensure we remain true to our environmental strategy throughout this change, we will slowly phase out Flexseal product labels and packaging over the course of the year to ensure scrappage is kept to a minimum. Being transparent in our actions is one of our core principles and as we enter this period of change we remain entirely committed to sharing information in a timely manner and being collaborative in our decision making.
This rebrand signifies an exciting development for our company in the UK, which will build on our sustained local investment in product and infrastructure, while genuinely benefitting from our combined global R&D commitments and market knowledge.
