SetcreteTM Launches High Tack Carpet Spray Adhesive

Manufacturer of quality subfloor preparation products for professional builders Setcrete^TM has launched a new high tack carpet spray adhesive for adhering a wide range of textile floorcoverings with ease.

Setcrete^TM High Tack Carpet Spray Adhesive can be used to secure carpet tiles, underlay and other soft textile floorcoverings to prepared and smoothed floors.

It is also suitable for perimeter fixing PU and foam/gel backed carpets and other textile floorcoverings and ideal for repairs where floorcoverings, including individual carpet tiles, have become worn or damaged and need replacing or have begun to lift.

Commenting on the launch, Setcrete^TM brand manager Peter Wilson said: “We’ve drawn on expertise in adhesives for the contract flooring industry to develop a go-to high tack carpet spray adhesive for a wide range of applications, including perimeter fixing and repairs to existing installations.”

Setcrete^TM High Tack Carpet Spray Adhesive can be applied to both absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors, including Setcrete^TM floor levelling compounds, sand/cement or concrete screeds, synthetic anhydrite screeds, plywood, flooring grade chipboard and hardboard.

A 500ml can of the adhesive will cover approximately 3.5m² in a single coat.
