This position suits a friendly person who has the drive to achieve results through a logical and systematic approach. The job environment requires motivation and effective time management skills to ensure results are delivered within the set time frames. The person fulfilling the role would enjoy challenging situations and can work within the broad parameters of the organisation. The ideal person will have experience with outbound calls and be positive, self-confident, self-motivated, imaginative, inquisitive, self-disciplined, and have an excellent telephone manner.

Job Summary

  • Work in close collaboration with the external sales team to grow their areas
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing members (customers)
  • Follow up on new member leads and onboard new members
  • Sell promotional campaigns
  • Share best practice
  • To make and receive calls from members and suppliers as necessary

Performance Standards

  • Outbound calls experience is essential
  • The ability to identify the buying signals (no hard sell)
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Have the resilience to overcome objections
  • Capable of working under pressure to meet necessary deadlines and initiatives
  • The ability to interface and relate to people from differing backgrounds and statuses
  • Deliver results from objective driven activities both individually and from within the team
