Resapol Donates to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity

The charitable arm of the business that aims to make a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives by awarding donations to charities to assist them in the incredible work they do everyday. As part of their ongoing work The Resapol Foundation is delighted to contribute £1,000 to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity.

The Lighthouse Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. A crucial element of their strategy is to provide a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry. This support is drastically needed, with statistics like 2 construction workers take their life every single day in the UK and 82,000 new cases of work-related illnesses in the construction industry every year.

• Self Support App – The app focusses on preventative tools and building resilience in the areas of emotional. physical and financial wellbeing.
• Education & Training: Wellbeing Academy – Most of the training is free and accessible by all within the industry and there are a variety of delivery methods and levels to suit everyone.
• Lighthouse Beacons – These are safe spaces throughout the UK, for people to come together and talk in a confidential and supportive environment.
• Critical Incident Support – Provides a fast well being response unit for critical onsite incidents.
