DART Tool Group strengthens team after successful year

 06 Jan 2026

DART Tool Group, leaders in innovative universal power tool accessories, has strengthened its team with two strategic appointments following last year’s significant progress and momentum across the business.

Preparing for an ambitious 2026, the company has welcomed Matt Cope as Business Development Manager and Evelyn Gascoyne as Marketing Manager, reinforcing its commercial and marketing capabilities at a pivotal stage in its expansion.

Matt, with over 30 years of experience in electrical distribution, brings extensive industry knowledge from roles spanning Area Sales Manager at Dorman Smith Switchgear and UK & Ireland Sales Manager at IDE Electric. In his new position, he will support account management, develop customer partnerships, deliver product training, and drive new commercial opportunities across key markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Matt said:

“People buy from people, and my experience in this industry has taught me what truly motivates customers. From the moment I joined, the team made me feel part of something special. I’m excited to bring my experience to DART and help drive the next phase of growth.”

Also joining the team, Evelyn Gascoyne brings expertise in communications, SEO content strategy, brand development, and inbound marketing. Her background spans higher education, professional services, and digital marketing, positioning her to lead the development of insight-driven marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility and support customer-centric growth.

Reflecting on her appointment, Evelyn commented:

“The marketing landscape is evolving faster than ever, and DART has the vision and momentum to stay ahead of that change. The team has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m excited to build insight-led strategies that support smarter, more impactful growth.”

Commenting on the expansion of the team, Matthew Wilkin, sales and marketing director at DART Tool Group said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Matt and Evelyn to our team. These appointments reflect our commitment to investing in the expertise needed to support our ambitious growth plans as we build on last year’s success.

“Matt’s extensive electrical industry experience and customer-first mindset align strongly with our focus on strengthening our presence in this sector over the year ahead, while Evelyn’s strategic, insight-led marketing approach will play a key role in elevating the DART brand and supporting continued commercial growth.”

Throughout 2025, DART experienced a standout year, driven by its focus on staying closely connected to customers and ensuring its product range remains relevant in a rapidly evolving market. The business deepened relationships across the industry, partnered with national merchants, and increased the number of in-store displays, allowing DART products to reach more consumers each day.

The company also delivered key installations, including builders merchants Selco and Haldane Fisher, demonstrating its continued investment in enhancing product visibility and customer engagement.

DART Tool Group successfully adapted to changes in buying behaviour too, responding to the shift toward “just-in-time” delivery and refining its offering to support more responsive and demand-led decision-making.

As the business moves into 2026, DART Tool Group remains committed to fostering a positive, values-led culture, supporting its customers through exceptional service, and continuing to meet the rising demand for its product range with agility and reliability.
