Leading water treatment manufacturer Fernox has promoted Charel Marais to Commercial Director – EMEA with responsibility including the UK & Ireland.
The announcement follows a period of significant growth and expansion for the company globally and further demonstrates its commitment to customer support and service.
With a continued focus on customer partnerships, underpinned with research and development, innovations in product and diagnostic testing and customer service, Fernox has promoted Charel Marais to Commercial Director – EMEA with immediate effect.
In his new role, Charel will be responsible for all Fernox sales teams throughout Europe including the UK & Ireland, as the company strengthens and develops its operations across the region.
Prior to joining Fernox over a year ago as Sales Director – Continental Europe, Charel had accumulated a vast experience of the HVAC sector, having spent over 20 years in prominent positions across the Netherlands, South Africa and the UK.
With an impressive track record of leading high performing teams to deliver sales growth and strategy, Charel will be instrumental in steering the company’s client accounts and customer proposition as it looks to extend its success though diversification and collaboration.
Speaking on his new appointment, Charel said: “I am delighted at the opportunities this promotion will give and look forward to working with the fantastic teams across Europe to help consolidate and grow the business further.
