Heidelberg Materials UK has launched a free online training platform to help merchants increase their knowledge and understanding of its full range of packed products.

The platform is open to all and can be accessed on demand, allowing users to learn at their own pace.

The different modules cover the company’s entire packed products range including cement, ready-to-use concrete and mortar, base and decorative aggregates and value-added products such as drive repair asphalt and lime.

The training provides practical guidance on the features, benefits and applications of each product, including ‘how to’ videos, and is designed to support merchants in recommending the right product for the right job.

Alongside product training, the platform gives users an overview of the marketing, sales and technical support that Heidelberg Materials provides, including access to a library of images, digital assets and brand guidelines to help promote products while supporting merchants to maximise sales and profits.

Andy Simpson, Commercial Director (Cement and GGBS) at Heidelberg Materials UK, said: “Merchants play a vital role in distributing our products, so equipping their staff with comprehensive product knowledge and marketing resources will help them to recommend the right solution for every job and improve the overall customer experience.”
