Draper Tools Marks 107-Year Heritage with Release of 33rd Edition Catalogue

 04 Sep 2026

Printed in direct response to demand, the new publication features over 9,000 product lines across a wide range of industry sectors.

British tool firm Draper Tools has officially unveiled its brand-new product catalogue, marking a key milestone for the 107-year-old family-owned business with the release of its 33rd edition publication.

The origin of the Draper catalogue dates back to 1961, when the company’s first ever edition was typed up on a typewriter by Joan Draper, grandmother to current company co-chairmen Tom and Joe Draper. Sixty-five years on, the 33rd edition reflects the scale of the business today, while retaining the core family values, independence and trade partnerships that have defined the company since 1919.

A Powerful Sales Tool

Produced directly in response to demand from stockists, the new catalogue serves as a key over-the-counter sales driver for merchants and trade counters. Designed for browsing, by tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts alike, the publication allows your customers to peruse the Draper range in-store or at home before completing their purchases directly through your store.

Spanning more than 1,000 pages, the new catalogue organises over 9,000 stock lines across 28 distinct product categories, making cross-category sourcing simple and efficient. Alongside Draper’s core ranges, the 33rd edition brings together an extensive multi-brand tool portfolio, with bold colourways on the front cover signifying the different Draper-owned brands. Notable highlights include:

  • NEW: DXPULSE Power Tools: Draper’s newest interchangeable battery cordless power tool platform.
  • Storage & Workshop Solutions: Featuring the flagship BUNKER modular storage brand alongside van storage, portable toolboxes and workshop equipment.
  • Specialist Trade Brands: Leading global partner brands including Laserliner, Schumacher, Knipex and Estwing.
  • Sector-Specific Products: Trade essentials such as Draper’s Endoscope Inspection Camera and site power distribution equipment from Defender.

An Exclusive First Look

The new catalogue also contains a first look at brand-new ranges yet to be launched. These include an 18V DXPULSE cordless power collection, set to launch later in the year, following on from the success of DXPULSE 12V. The catalogue also includes a preview of European-brand Steiner, launching an air tools range with Draper in early 2027. Plus, the recently acquired trade brands Van Vault and Defender also make their Draper catalogue debut.

Quality Assurance & Trade Trust

Built on over a century of experience, Draper Tools underpins its entire product range with rigorous internal quality control. Operating comprehensive state-of-the-art QA testing facilities, every range undergoes strict safety, durability and performance testing prior to launching.

This commitment to product reliability is reflected in Draper’s Lifetime Warranty across all hand tools, giving you and you complete commercial confidence and offering your customers peace of mind. The company also holds an ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot, with more than a thousand 5-star reviews, reinforcing its reputation as one of the UK’s most trusted tool suppliers.

Speaking about the launch, Co-Chairman Joe Draper commented “When our grandmother Joan typed up Draper’s very first catalogue in 1961, she could hardly have imagined that one day we’d be publishing a 1,000-page, 33rd edition featuring over 9,000 products. Yet as a 107-year-old British business, we are immensely proud to still be independent and family-owned. Our longevity comes down to one thing: listening to our customers, constantly evolving and making sure we deliver the very best portfolio of trusted brands to meet growing market demand. A publication of this scale is a massive effort, so I want to extend a huge thank you to the Draper team for their hard work bringing this milestone catalogue to life. It’s a true celebration of how far we’ve come together with our retail partners, and our commitment to supporting their sales remains stronger than ever.”

Sustainably Produced

Draper was recently recognised for its sustainability credentials by the DIY Week Awards, and this ethos runs through all of its business processes including the creation of the 33rd edition catalogue, which has been produced with environmental considerations in mind. To create the catalogue, Draper partnered with Roularta Printing, an ISO 50001 certified printing firm operating green energy-powered production facilities. Printed entirely on PEFC-certified paper (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), all stock is sourced exclusively from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources.
