Data Yard, the industry-owned data pool established by the BMF and NMBS, has a new Strategic Partner: Klipboard, the software solutions provider formerly known as Kerridge Commercial Systems.
Through this strategic partnership, Klipboard will actively participate in Data Yard’s advisory groups, providing insights based on its extensive experience in ERP software, data catalogues, and the builders’ merchant industry. It will also collaborate closely on testing and developing new features, helping ensure that product data flows smoothly from suppliers into merchant systems.
Data Yard is designed to make product data in the building materials sector more consistent, accurate, and accessible. By acting as a central hub for merchant and supplier data, Data Yard helps the entire supply chain work more efficiently, reduces errors, and makes it easier for merchants to keep their systems up to date.
Welcoming the partnership, Richard Hill, Data Yard Chairman said:
“Klipboard’s deep ERP expertise and strong understanding of the building materials sector will further strengthen Data Yard’s ability to connect product data directly into merchant systems. This partnership is a key step in ensuring data flows seamlessly from source to system, supporting greater consistency, efficiency and adoption across the industry as Data Yard – the Industry Data Pool continues to scale.”
James Mitchell, CEO Europe for Klipboard, said:
“Data Yard is tackling one of the biggest challenges in the building materials sector – inconsistent and fragmented product data across the industry. As a leading ERP provider, we strongly promote the use of good quality data in the supply chain. Partnering with Data Yard will help us ensure our customers have Klipboard solutions that interact with Data Yard to benefit the industry.”
