Draper Tools Strengthens Portfolio with Acquisition of Van Vault and Defender Lighting

Draper Tools can today announce it has acquired two new brands, Van Vault and Defender Lighting. Both brands were formerly part of Toolstream Ltd, w​​hich has recently entered administration.

Van Vault, was established over 20 years ago and is a leading supplier of vehicle and on-site security storage solutions. While Defender, is a prominent brand in the global site lighting and power distribution industry.

Draper Tools, which was established in 1919 and is a 4th generation family business, has built a reputation for supplying quality tools and equipment to a wide range of sectors. The company has headquarters in the UK, Europe and the Far East and sees the acquisitions as a key part of its long-term commitment to meeting the tooling needs of a diverse range of industry sectors.

Speaking about the news, Matt Sheen, CEO at Draper Tools said:
