Toolbank’s Environmental Initiatives

Sustainability is one of Toolbank’s top priorities. Since 2023 we have invested over half a million pounds on ‘green’ initiatives. We have fitted solar panels on 4 of our UK sites, with plans for more in 2025. Most of our company cars are now EVs or PHEVs with plans to roll out a number of electric vans in 2025. We continually strive to increase our recycling rates and nearly 80% of all of the waste that our business produces is recycled, with less than 1% going to landfill.

These are just a few of the projects that have contributed to a 10% decrease in YoY carbon emissions over the past reporting period. We have projected that we will see similar decreases in each subsequent year as we move towards a long-term goal of NET ZERO carbon emissions.
