Gradie Featherstone, Championship Supercross Rider, Secures Backing From Franke Washroom Systems |
Gradie Featherstone, age 14 from Chesterfield is riding high thanks in part to the sponsorship provided by Chesterfield company Franke Washroom Systems (also known as Franke Sissons).

Gradie has secured two national championships in the last two years and has just completed a 5 week training and competing schedule in America where he qualified for the Loretta Lynn, America’s top amateur motocross series. Tipped to be a front-runner in all classes of dirt-bike riding, Gradie has been training in America since he was 9 years old.
Franke Washroom Systems, are leaders in the market of commercial washroom and catering products and manufacture many of the products in a modern plant in Chesterfield. Andy Dukelow, Managing Director said “It’s great to see a local young rider so committed and focused on his sport and doing so well on the international stage. We hope our involvement will allow Gradie to move on in his competing career.”
Gradie trains in America in the off season and enjoys the benefit of his own track next to his father’s home. Gradie said “It’s great a local company felt it wanted to support me. I’m very fortunate to be able to pursue the sport at this level and all the sponsorship I receive is put to very good use.”
Gradie’s other sponsors include; DFB, PD Estates, CMC Clay Cross, Shock Tech, Motoshack, MX Arm Burner and One Industries Clothing which provide equipment and clothing. Franke Washroom Systems is the first deal to provide the young rider with funding.
