NMBS Exhibition Kicked Off with More Member Delegates
Over 400 Delegates Attended
The 2010 NMBS Exhibition on 12th May 2010 at the Telford International Centre was a year of records for NMBS. Over 400 Member delegates attended and made the most of the deals available: including placing a record number of orders on the Spot Buy and Pallet Alley Stands. With over £450,000 of orders placed the products were literally flying off the shelves as members took advantage of the amazing deals on offer.
Whilst discovering the bargains available on the Spot Buy Stand some members took the opportunity to set up a completely free website with the NMBS Marketing Team on the Marketing Stand positioned next door.
Upon entering the main hall football was everywhere you looked: from table football, to famous referees, to football giveaways there were constant reminders that England are soon to be playing in the World Cup. The referee who is most famous for giving a player three yellow cards in the last world cup, Graham Poll, was situated on the Makita Stand signing copies of his book for members. The best stand was also following suit with the football theme, Parker Merchanting and The Walsall Wheelbarrow Company won for their elaborate joint stand covered in England flags, where everyone received a free England Hard Hat.
However it was not just football memorabilia that made people attend. Commonly known as the best buying and selling event for Independent Merchants the Exhibition is “THE” place to snare killer deals, earn extra rebates and meet new and existing suppliers first hand.
NMBS Managing Director, Chris Hayward, says of the event: ‘This was one of our biggest and best Exhibitions to date. With more members attending and more orders being placed it was a success for all involved.’
Had a great day and we were able to meet our customers and meet new ones thanks to Chris for the invite and thank you to all who gave me their time in speaking to me.
