Balustrade expert Richard Burbidge has restructured its outdoor balustrade range to make it easier for merchants and retailers to order, stock, display and sell products this season.

The new range has been restructured into four clear categories: Hardwood, a premium collection offering luxury and durability; Contemporary, modern collection including the flagship FUSION® systems; Classic, a collection of simple and solid styles that are easy to fit; and Traditional, a wide range of mix and match softwood components in popular styles.

A number of new systems have been introduced in response to consumer demand, including a square system in the Hardwood range; a glass panel system in the Contemporary collection; square baluster, metal baluster and glass panel systems in the Classic range and a glass panel system in the Traditional range.

Outdoor Balustrade Product Manager Catriona Nicholls comments: “We had two very clear aims when undertaking this range review – to help stockists upsell to higher value balustrade systems and to identify gaps in our offering. We then took the opportunity to introduce new systems that would satisfy consumer demand.

“The new range division will make it easier for our merchant and retail customers to display products according to style, whilst the expansion of our Hardwood and Contemporary ranges plus, the inclusion of glass options within the Traditional and Classic collections will help stockists to upsell and enjoy greater margins.
