Outdoor living specialist Rowlinson Garden Products has introduced a Vegetable Box and Raised Bed as part of its new collection of ‘grow your own’ products, designed to help stockists capitalise on the trend for self-sufficiency.

Ideal for novice gardeners, the Vegetable Box makes crop maintenance easy and can be used to grow a range of vegetables. Plus, its slightly raised base reduces the need for bending and stooping, when planting, weeding or harvesting. Measuring 150mm by 1800mm by 900mm (h x w x d), the Vegetable Box can be used on its own in small gardens or as part of a series in allotments.

Also new is the Raised Bed, which improves access for less agile or disabled gardeners, by adding height to the plant bed. Designed to create a dedicated area for growing vegetables, the Raised Bed protects crops, whilst helping to create the right soil conditions. The bed allows soil to warm up quickly to lengthen the growing season and also allows vegetables to be planted close together, which means there is less room for weeds to grow.
